Gottschee Memorial
The Gottscheer memorial was built in Graz-Mariatrost in 1967. In a large show area on the first and second basement floors of the church, the 650-year history of the German-speaking island in today's Slovenia is presented. Gottscheer costumes, homework, a Gottscheer farmhouse parlor, literature and pictures impressively document the cultural identity of this ethnic group, which still lives in close cohesion today.
