Theriak Museum
What can’t be cured must be endured, as the saying goes… but perhaps it can be cured after all? The Mohren Apotheke’s Theriak Museum in Graz shows that there really is such a thing as a universal remedy. Steeped in legend, theriac was developed by King Mithridates of Pontus as an antidote and panacea. The recipe includes between 50 and 300 different ingredients - including opium and viper flesh.
