When can a pot can be a lot more than just a pot? At the new underground Archaeology museum. Join a treasure hunt through the ages to discover exciting finds from the “Styrian” prehistoric era, classical antiquity, the ancient near east and Egypt. Encapsulated here are the big themes of life, beyond time and place: magnificent objects of international fame and importance, but also fascinating unknown pieces, some shown for the first time ever in a new set-up.

Note: The "Tag des Dekmals" (= Monument Day) takes place on 29.09.2024 - admission to Old Gallery, Archaeology Museum and Coin Cabinet is free! Special guided tours are offered! Tickets must be reserved in advance!
